The Case Study Skills Workshop for Economics is a specialized training program designed to equip students with the necessary tools and techniques to excel in the A-level Economics case study paper. The workshop takes place in two convenient locations: Bukit Timah Shopping Centre and Tampines. Over the course of three sessions, students will receive guidance on structuring their responses to higher-order case study questions, using effective answering techniques and strategies. The workshop also includes revision notes on case study skills, sample examination questions, and addressing common errors and misconceptions. Past participants have reported significant improvement in their conceptual understanding and application skills, leading to higher scores in their examinations. The Intensive Revision Programme is an intensive study program offered exclusively in December each year. It is designed for students who haven’t performed well in their promotional exams and wish to reinforce their JC1 topics, ensuring a strong foundation for further studies. The program covers content revision, a range of Economics essay questions, and topical case studies, allowing students to apply their learned theories to exam questions. The program is open to new students who are not attending regular weekly tuition classes. Participants can expect to benefit from revision notes, model essays, answering techniques, essay-writing strategies for higher-order essay questions, and practice with actual examination questions. The program also provides guidance on writing evaluation points and value judgments to score high marks, along with clarifications on common errors and misconceptions.
